About Stairway to Nothingness:
Recognition: “The stairway to nothingness” is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Stairway to nothingness – what a beautiful & inspired name for an amazing hypnotizing 100-meter-long bridge defying the 1,300ft (396 meters) drop below and located in the Austrian Alps, at the Dachstein Glacier resort. The Dachstein glacier is the most eastern glacier in the Alpine mountain range, which is the most visited tourist attraction in Styria offering skiing all year round.

The stairway is constructed with nerves of steel for travelers around the globe, the bridge meanders around the mountain range then descends fourteen steps into a glass deck viewing platform. This unconventional bridge took 6 months to build and is currently the highest observation deck in Austria.

“Stairway to Nothingness” can be accessed via the town of Schladming, a must-visit place for skiing and hiking.
There is a cable car to reach on top & almost touch the grey and pink rocky landscape.

Entry Fees:
Visiting fee for the suspension bridge is about 3 Euros, but you can enjoy the dizzying heights for free, if you also visit the Dachstein Ice Palace.
